Wednesday Wants | Accessoryo Wishlist

Is it Wednesday already?  Time is flying away with me as I leave for London on Sunday, my life is all packed up and I am living out of suitcases and multiple handbags at the moment which in this heat is not the easiest when getting ready.

Last night I was surprised by my lovely friends with dinner and cocktails, I was so over whelmed as I had no idea.  I innocently thought I was popping to the pub with a couple of friends however after a swift detour and a journey filled with my moaning (about various tasks I still need to do before I move) we arrived at TGI's.
20 of my friends were sat there cheering and videoing my very shocked face,  I feel very blessed to have such a lovely group of girls around me and very sad to leave them!

This weeks wish list is accessory based and focused on the fairly new and fabulous online store Accessoryo, where they believe accessorising is the key.
They have kindly given me an discount code so I can offer you lovely lot 20% off, just type in FASHIONTATT20 at the checkout and treat yourself!  I picked out my favourite pieces from the site below and voila here you have this weeks 'Wednesday Wants'...

Monday Musing | Casual style inspiration

Since the revival of boyfriend jeans and the constant want to wear trainers with everything I have a sudden urge to create cool casual outfits based around these simplistic, on trend pieces.  So much so I have started a new Pinterest board and appropriately named it 'casual'.   God I am imaginative.

For me dressing as if you haven't made much of an effort actually requires more effort.
I am sadly not one of these girls that can flop out of bed and into the nearest outfit, unwashed and make up free and still look like a goddess.
No, no, time and planning must go into my looks which greatly annoys and pleases me at the same time.  If I were however one of those fall outta bed flawless girls (god damn them creatures) then this is how I would be doing it...

Sadly I am not so hand me the MAC and a stippling brush and let me get to work.

A Carboot bargain...

A weeks absence from the blog is due to me being down in London last week working and training on my new job!  All very exciting and a great opportunity to understand the brand better and meet my new colleagues who all seem rather lovely which is a huge bonus.
I also spent my time there flat hunting to which is still proving more difficult than I ever imagined.  I continued to feel stressed at the thought of it as I ideally need to move in this weekend coming.  Oh well, I am sure it will all fall in to place *praying hands*

Today's outfit is up there with my all time best carboot buys as this whole set was only £2.
I loved the smart and sophisticated feel to this two piece, the shorts are fabulously high waisted and more of a culotte style.  I teamed it with this amazing Mulberry-esque bag which was kindly sent to me by the lovely ladies over at ikrush, the bag is a great size for every day but possibly a tad to big for a night out or going straight out from the office.
The quality is amazing and so affordable at £14.99...

Outfit Post | Boohoo Coord

This Sunday blog post comes after a rather stressful weekend, house-hunting all day yesterday in London but with not much luck, wedding prep last night with my beautiful friend Heather who is going to look a stunner in approximately 20 days and then all day today clearing out old clothes and attempting to pack what I can.
Its official I have way to many clothes.

Here's an outfit from a week or so ago which I forgot to post, it's a glamorous, sparkly co-ord  from Boohoo which I bought for Ascot last month.
It is from the Boohoo night Collection and is impressive quality, the fabric is weighty and an array of gorgeous pastel pinks, mint greens and golds.
My look for Ascot was a lot smarter, styled with a fitted white blazer, nude sandals and a clutch but here it shows how versatile the 2 piece is teamed with a loose kimono and Birkenstock dupes for a day time look.
Who said you can't wear head to toe sequins shopping!

As I was one of the runners up for the Fashion Chick MBFWA competition I won a voucher for Boohoo which kindly contributed towards this fabulous outfit!

I hope you all had lovely weekends whatever you got up to, I'm off to log back on to Spareroom, Zoopla and Rightmove to continue the house search!
Wish me luck.

Wednesday Wants | Workwear

So with the new job looming and the big move underway (house hunting is becoming rather stressful mind) my thoughts turn to the main questions, what am I going to wearing to work and what is tube friendly?  Its very hot in London at the moment and hopefully in the next 4 weeks that won't change to much, I have my eyes on new trainers for the commute and of course the comfort factor, smart trousers for meetings and floaty skirts and shirts for warm sunny days in the office!

I did hit jackpot at my local car boot last weekend and found some amazing retro 2 pieces which will be perfect for the office, I'm very excited to blog the 2 outfits soon and after those finds I certainly have the booty bug back!

Outfit Post | Best Dress Ever

The title pretty much says it all, this dress really is the best dress ever.
This is the second look that Motel very kindly sent over and I have worn it 3 times in the week that I have had it.  The floaty and relaxed shape of this dress is so flattering and the cut out shoulder details adds a stylish touch.
This outfit was of course a casual look but I teamed the dress with my wedged mules & leather jacket for dinner at the weekend for a dressier feel.

Mondays Musings | Interior Inspiraton

As I spend many a nights pinning innovative interiors design ideas on Pinterest and re-posting edgy outfit looks on Tumblr I thought I would show you my favourite inspirations in a new feature on the blog.  Monday musings will be where I show you all some of my top visual inspirations each week dictated by whats inspiring my searches.

For example this week I am in house hunt mode and depending on whether I rent a room in London or find a flat to share with my friend interior ideas are very much at the forefront of my mind right now.  I want my room to be a little haven of peace and to utilise space as much as possible, so here are a few images which have got the creative juices flowing.

Ideally an all white room would be amazing, however as an avid fake tan user it's probably not the best interior colour choice.  Next stop is Ikea...

Outfit Post | Sunflowers

This dress has left me feeling rather sad at the fact that I am not at Glastonbury, the print  screams festival and also reminds me that I am not at one!  I have just caught up on some of the highlights on TV and I don't mind the fact that I missed the rain, but I guess what is a festival without a bit of mud?

The lovely girls over at Motel sent me a couple of dresses to style and this is the first one, the sunflower print oozes 90's chic, it is a loose fit and has cute cut out detail down the front.  Also because of the shorter length it's definitely going to be a go to dress for a Saturday night out, teamed with some chunky, high platforms and a clutch it can be the perfect dress to be dressed up or down!

I also have some big news that I thought I should share... I am moving to London!
Yes after many years of wanting to live there I am finally doing it.  I have been offered a job at People Tree who are a sustainable fashion brand and I am so excited to join their wholesale team where I will be selling their gorgeous new collections to some popular boutiques around the UK.  People Tree sell beautiful, ethical fashion but with a glamorous and desirable edge and of course the promise of knowing your clothes were made ethically and sustainably.  Now let the house hunting commence!

Hope you have all had a good weekend!
